Focus and scope

Arqueología y Sociedad  is a refereed scientific publication edited by Museo de Arqueología y Antropología of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Publishes complete, original and unpublished articles that contribute to scientific knowledge on archeology and anthropology issues, related to the Peruvian, Latin American and world sphere. It also allows topics of interdisciplinary interest such as ethnohistory, physical anthropology, linguistics, among others.

Arqueología y Sociedad is a biannual journal. The sponsoring institution is the Museo de Arqueología y Antropología of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
