Author Guidelines

  1. Articles must be written in Spanish.
  2. The minimum length of the articles is 6 thousand words and the maximum of 10 thousand words of text on an A4 page, with Times New Roman font, 12 points, written on one side and double spaced with margins of at least less 25 mm.
  3. Authors must send their manuscript in Word format. Other formats will not be accepted.
  4. Authors must indicate their Orcid number.
  5. All graphic material (photographs, drawings, maps or others) must be provided in jpg or tiff format at 600 dpi, and at an appropriate scale (A4), in a maximum of 10 units; also, a maximum of 4 tables, numbered indicating the order of their appearance in the text. The legends of all figures must be in Spanish.
  6. In the case of translations, the name of the translator, the language in which it was originally written and the original source of its publication must be indicated.
  7. Items must have: 
  • Title.
  • Abstact - in Spanish and English: It should not exceed 150 words. 
  • Keywords - in Spanish and English. 
  • Full names of the author or authors, academic degrees and institutions in which they work.
  • Article.
  • Thanks.
  • Bibliographic references. Bibliographic references or citations should be included in the body of the text, indicating only the author's last name, year and page. They must have the format according to APA Standards, 7th. Edition.

QUOTE: For example: (Tello, 1942, p. 12).
The bibliography will go at the end of the article, after the notes, in alphabetical order and maintaining the following format according to APA Standards, 7th. Edition:

In case of books

Jaeger, W. (1962). Paidea. Fondo de Cultura Económica.

In case of magazines

Houssay, B. A. (1961). Misión y responsabilidad del investigador científico. Finis Terrae, Nº 32: 3-11. (en caso lo tuviese, incluir al final el DOI del artículo).

In case of a chapter of a book with an editor

Calderón Pacheco, L. (2000). Imágenes de otredad y de frontera: antropología y pueblos amazónicos. En Carlos Iván Degregori (Ed.), No hay país más diverso. Compendio de antropología peruana (pp. 156-178). IEP y Red para el Desarrollo de las Ciencias Sociales.
