INVESTIGACIÓN ARQUEOLÓGICA ENTRE LAS QUEBRADAS DE KUKULIYUQ WAYQU Y QECHQA WAYQU, DISTRITO DE ACOCRO Y TAMBILO, AYACUCHO

En el presente artículo se muestra un conjunto de restos arqueológicos que se encuentran ubicados en los distritos de Tambillo y Acocro, departamento de Ayacucho, entre las quebradas de Kukuliyuq Wayqu y Qechqa Wayqu en la margen superior del río Yucae, los cuales, muestran una larga y continua ocupación que van desde el Formativo hasta el Horizonte Tardío, incluso hasta la colonia. Se registró 11 sitios arqueológicos, entre las evidencias destacan: ushno, un conjunto de huancas, recintos circulares, abrigos, tumbas, poblados, terrazas de cultivos, caminos, ojos de agua. Todos distribuidos desde los 2300 m.s.n.m. hasta los 4800 m.s.n.m. en las regiones: quechua, suni y puna.
