The present work called "Arqueología de caminos Hawkaypata - Chinchero advances for its interpretation", sought to carry out an archaeological prospecting study on the boundaries of this prehispanic route, taking in consideration the different sources and works carried out in the place.
Regarding the estimate of the work, it was sought to carry out a detailed and meticulous work of the type of superficial evidence that is found throughout the entire route of the road, and in the Archaeological Sites associated with it. It's also necessary to mention that the work carried out was according with the Archaeological Research Regulations.
The study area was chosen for a particular interest in the area, such as the proximity of this route to the places where the Inka culture would have originated. For this reason there is an urgent need to carry out research work in the area is sensed to expand the concept and knowledge of the historical development of the place.
Although many of the Archaeological Sites mentioned in the present work have already been registered by the Ministry of Culture "Qhapaq Ñan Project", research works that define their importance and function have not been carried out yet, a situation that in the long run it has caused the loss of valuable information, as many of these places have been destroyed or continue to be devastated.
The exploration work consisted of a detailed record of the pre-Hispanic and colonial occupation sites with the help of adequate methods and techniques to determine the main characteristics of its pattern of settlement, knowing also that this area is part of the network of roads called Qhapaq Ñan, specifically the route to Chinchaysuyo.
