Por qué emplear los manuales
La finalidad de un procedimiento consiste, como es conocido, en actuar de modo que las operación es d e naturaleza repetitiva se realicen siempre en la misma forma. La necesidad de garantizar una rígida uniformidad de tratamiento de las transacciones y/o acciones periódicas tiene su razón de ser en algunos motivos fundamentales.
1. Asegurarse que sean constantemente respetadas las políticas empleadas.
2. Reducir los erro res operativos.
3. Reducir el período de adiestramiento de los nuevos auditores.
4. Facilitar la introducción de los auditores en los nuevos trabajos.
5. Evitar que los cambios del sistema sean consecuencia de decisiones demasiado rápidas.
6. Facilitar el mantenimiento de un buen nivel organizativo.
